<p><strong>What do you usually do on that day?  Maybe, your family dedicates that day to make you feel special  and show you their love and appreciation for everything you do for them.  What a great opportunity for your children to give you presents they made specially for you.  And what a great opportunity for you to receive&#8230;.</strong></p>
<p><strong>All of you, mothers,  deserve recognition for the love, the compassion, the nurturing, the attention and all the amazing things that you do for your family each day of your life. </strong></p>
<p><strong>Being a mother is a great responsibility, you have one of the most important and sacred jobs in the world, so how you nurture and take care of yourself is of the utmost importance because&#8230;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<h2><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>You want to mother your children from a place of peace and love not from a place of stress, overwhelm and desperation</strong></span></h2>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">I want to suggest to you to put yourself first today and every day&#8230;.by now, you are probably thinking:  &#8220;What  a selfish thing to do&#8221;,   aren&#8217;t  I suppose to do everything  for everybody?<br />
</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Well, what  I learned in my own life experience is that a mother who wants to be healthy, balanced and centered would do the following:</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Love and Accept Yourself  Unconditionally</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Be gentle with yourself every day, and treat yourself with compassion<br />
</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Respect yourself so others would respect you</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Recognize that you are worth it.  Own your value</strong></span></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>Set healthy boundaries, so you only accept to do what your heart wants you to do</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>Learn to say NO</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Live a heart centered life</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Listen to your heart and your intuition</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Listen to the messages your body is sending you every day.  Ask:  &#8221; what is my body trying to tell me?&#8221;</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Take care of your mind and body  (which includes  adequate  exercise, sleep  and nutrition that your doctor recommends for your own unique case)</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Take care of your physical and spiritual needs first thing in the morning</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Heal your unresolved emotional issues and trauma with EFT.  If you have tried doing EFT on your own and you don&#8217;t get results, consider investing in yourself and hire a certified EFT Practitioner  so you can heal yourself and your life easier and faster</strong></span></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Set aside some quiet time for you each day, even if it is just a few minutes to help balance yourself<br />
</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Cherish yourself</span></strong></li>

<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">BE your biggest cheerleader</span></strong></li>
</ul>

<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Speak your truth and Speak up when you do not like or agree with something</span></strong></li>

<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Write and Tap Your Gratitude Journal,  (we already talked about gratitude and EFT before, so  you already know what to do, or come back to <a href="http://www.eftmindandbody.com " rel="nofollow">http://www.eftmindandbody.com </a> and read it again</span></strong></li>

<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Focus on your amazing qualities, and what makes you unique.  For example,  you can tap on the different energy points in front of the mirror  and say:  </span></strong></li>

<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">I am beautiful, I am healthy,  I am amazing,  I am enthusiastic,  I am shining, I am love, I am loved, I am happy,  I am energetic, I am strong,  I am powerful, I love myself, I love my body, etc. etc.<br />

<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Do what gives you joy, have fun</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">It is O.K. to ask for  and receive help</span></strong></li>

<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Buy yourself  flowers, surround yourself with beauty</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Treat yourself like an honored guest every single day of your life!</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>Please know that when YOU TRULY  LOVE YOURSELF UNCONDITIONALLY and you take care of yourself, YOU ARE ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHILDREN EVEN MORE and you are influencing their lives in the most benevolent way possible.  You are making a difference, you are raising loving, confident and healthy kids!</strong></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Remember that, it is very difficult to give when you are running on empty, but when you take care of yourself and your are healthy, you have more than enough to offer your family and others. So Love Yourself and nurture yourself  first, and then others will benefit also.</span></strong></p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>If you are a parent you know how important your role is in  the lives of your children.  Because the way your children perceive you will affect their whole life.   Are you a loving dad? If your children always feel supported by you, they will feel free to call you whenever they need to talk to someone.  But if you are always angry, stressed out, overwhelmed or violent, your kids will be  frightened of you. And the minute you come home, they go into hiding. Of course, when they grow up, they will run away from your house as soon as they can and  might even  live on the other side of the world.  Just because you did not build a loving and respectful relationship with your own children.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Maybe by now, you are thinking about your parenting style.  Maybe,  you are remembering your own childhood experience.  How was your relationship with your dad?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Did you feel safe and protected when he was around?</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Were you happy when your dad arrived home from work?</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Was your dad physically present at home, but emotionally absent?</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Did your dad hug you?</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Did your dad wipe your tears when you were hurting?</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Did your dad show compassion for you?</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Did your dad validate you?</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Did your dad approve of you?</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Did your dad abandon you?</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Did your dad reject you?</span></strong></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color:#000000;">For this EFT exercise,  I am using the &#8220;Father Figure&#8221;   but you can replace the word father for mother, or for the name of the person who raised you.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#333399;"><strong>Furthermore, I want you to know that it is very important to heal your  unresolved childhood emotional issues because they affect your adult physical and emotional health. You are here to love yourself and  enjoy a happy life, but you won&#8217;t be able to be happy if you are suffering illness or you are walking around in life feeling rejected.  What can happen if you don&#8217;t heal your experience of being rejected? You will attract more of the same energy of rejection into your  life.  (and that includes, love, friendships, career, everything)</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#333399;"><strong>Does it make sense to you?</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>SETTING THE INTENTION TO HEAL</strong>:</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#333399;"><strong>Tap 7 to 10 times on your  karate chop point  (side of hand) or on your favorite point and say:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;text-decoration:underline;">My intention is to heal the pain of being rejected by my own father  (OR MOTHER)<br />
</span></strong></span><strong></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">When you think about growing up with your dad or your mom,   what emotion do you feel?  Do you feel sadness?  Do you feel anger?  Do you feel disappointment?  Where do you feel that emotion in your body?  You might feel the emotion in your chest, your tummy, etc.</span><br />
</strong></p>
<p>EFT TIP:   Focus on one specific incident with your dad. Do you have an event in your mind now? How old were you? Where were you?   You could tap for example: Even though I feel sadness because my dad rejected me, and it is a 8.  I deeply love and accept myself and I open myself to the possibility that I could release this sadness  (tap on all the energy points, until your emotional intensity decreases)</p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Rate the intensity of your emotion on a scale of 0-10 (SUDS  Rating-Subjective Units of Distress)</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>10 meaning – your highest intensity (I feel terrible)</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>0 meaning  – no intensity at all  (I feel happy)    *  Remember to drink water before and during tapping</strong></span></p>

<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Even though my dad never approved of me, he really rejected me, I deeply and completely love and accept myself, and I accept that this is true in my family</strong></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Even though I feel rejected by my dad, he never did anything special for me,  I deeply accept myself and maybe I can be open to forgiving him</span></strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong><strong>Now tap on the following energy points while repeating your negative reminder phrases:  If possible tap on both sides of the face and body. (Use 3 or 4 fingers of one hand to tap on the energy points)</strong></strong></span></p>

<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>Rate your emotional intensity level on a scale of 0-10, do several rounds until your intensity is down to ZERO.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#ff6600;text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Now tap  REFRAMING AND POSITIVE CHOICES on each of the following energy points:</strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Crown of head:  I think that is  just the way he was</strong></span></p>

<p><strong>How senseless recent events in the United States have been.  And how affected we all are when we hear the news or when we read  or watch it on television.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Even though we have our own individual identity and we are unique in all aspects, we are all connected energetically in consciousness. </strong></p>
<p><strong>Thus, it is easy to understand that we were shocked to see the horrendous crimes in Connecticut, and most recently the explosions that took place in Boston. We were also surprised to see how many people lost their lives and homes in Texas  due to the fertilizer plant explosion.<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong> So in the midst of these tragedies,  at times you might have a mixture of feelings that you can&#8217;t understand&#8230;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Heartbreak</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>Sadness and Sorrow</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>Grief</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>Despair</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>Anger</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>Fear</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color:#3366ff;"><strong>What else are you feeling in your heart?</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>So today, we are asking you to do this EFT Exercise with us as a group, because &#8221; Group Intention&#8221;  help us to get results.  Later, when  new people come and read this article,  they can also join our energies with the same intention.  </strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff0000;"><strong>Remember also, that when you heal yourself, you are also healing the world around  you.  When you love yourself,  your love affects your community in a positive way.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>SETTING THE INTENTION TO HEAL</strong>:</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#333399;"><strong>Tap 7 to 10 times on your  karate chop point  (side of hand) or on your favorite point and say:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;text-decoration:underline;">Our Group Intention is to be able to create inner peace in our minds and bodies</span></strong></span><strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>When you think about these horrendous crimes and loss of lives,   what emotion do you feel?  Where do you feel that emotion in your body?  You might be affected by events that are happening in your own corner of the world.</strong></p>
<p>EFT TIP:  You could tap for example: Even though I feel fear in my chest, and it is a 9.  I deeply love and accept myself and I open myself to the possibility that I could have peace  (tap on all the energy points, until your emotional intensity decreases)</p>
<p><strong>Rate the intensity of your emotion on a scale of 0-10 (SUDS  Rating-Subjective Units of Distress)</strong></p>
<p><strong>10 meaning – your highest intensity (I feel terrible)</strong></p>
<p><strong>0 meaning  – no intensity at all  (I feel happy)    *  Remember to drink water before and during tapping</strong></p>

<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Even though my heart breaks when I see those victims and their families, I deeply love and accept myself and I accept that I am having these feelings and maybe I can relax just a little bit so I can heal my heart, my mind and my spirit</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Even though I have these fears in my body,  and I cannot relax,  how could they do this to all those innocent people?  I deeply and completely love and accept myself and I am allowing myself to be balanced in my heart, my mind and my whole body</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Even though I am so confused with all these emotions, I am giving myself permission to feel each one of them,  I accept that I am angry, I accept that I am afraid, I accept that I am devastated, I accept that I am sad and I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself anyway</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong><strong>Now tap on the following energy points while repeating your negative reminder phrases:  If possible tap on both sides of the face and body. (Use 3 or 4 fingers of one hand to tap on the energy points)</strong></strong></span></p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="color:#000080;"><strong>Due to recent tragic events in The United States people have been impacted  with the pain of seeing senseless loss of lives,  and survivors suffering terrible injuries.  A lot of people are stressing out over the explosions  in Boston and it is understandable that  they are living in fear for themselves and their families.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;"><strong>But what we know is that we are more helpful when we ourselves are able to feel inner peace in our hearts and minds, so we want to help you create a sacred space for you where you can find peace within yourself.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;"><strong>Let&#8217;s begin by closing your eyes, take a slow healing breath in and gently exhale.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;"><strong>Take another slow healing breath in and fill your mind and body with healing  oxygen and feel your body beginning to relax</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;"><strong>Take another slow healing breath and fill your mind and body with love and light and as you exhale, let go of all your worries and your fears.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;"><strong>Now place your hand over your heart center and gently tap and  feel your mind connecting with your heart, in this moment create  peace in your body and know that when you are peaceful, you are creating peace in the world around you.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;"><strong>Continue tapping over your heart center and feel love for yourself and know that when you love yourself,  you are radiating love all around you.</strong></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000080;">Continue tapping gently over your heart center and fill your heart with gratitude for this sacred space that we have created together.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000080;">Now continue tapping and say what I say:  (You can substitute the word Universe for the word that best reflects your beliefs, the God of your understanding)<br />

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>People come to me because they need help healing their childhood wounds.  Each person is unique,  and their childhood experiences are unique to them.  But as children,  they all  shared one common need,  &#8220;The Need to be Loved , Protected and Respected.&#8221;<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>As to this date, my clients have not been little children, my clients have been adults whose inner child has been  abused and mistreated.</strong></p>
<p><strong>When these children grew up, they  became adults that were emotionally hurting,  some of them  had so many unresolved traumas and negative emotions that contributed  to  their physical pain and diseases.  A few had already tried to commit suicide, as young adults.   Why did they go to the extreme of wanting  to end it all?  They felt that they were never  loved and accepted by their own parents.</strong></p>
<p><strong>As I am writing you these lines, I am remembering what happened yesterday in my very peaceful neighborhood&#8230;</strong></p>
<p><strong>Something happened  at my neighbor&#8217;s home that broke the peace.  I was doing my work like any other day, but all of a sudden I heard voices, well they were not really voices, they were screams, that soon became out of control, people were yelling harder and harder.</strong></p>
<p><strong>I looked through the window trying to locate the source of all the commotion.  I was confused.</strong></p>
<p><strong>All of a sudden, I saw too young boys running out of my neighbors home, with terrified looks on their faces, tears running down their cheeks.</strong></p>
<p><strong>I went after them, I asked them  what was happening&#8230;The little boys said that their aunts were fighting.  I held them trying to comfort them.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The younger one wanted to hold on to me, they were really frightened.  I told them that whatever was happening in that house did not have anything to do with them, that the problem belongs to the adults, not them.  I wanted them to understand that they were not responsible for what was happening. (The adults were).</strong></p>
<p><strong>At that time, a woman came running out, I asked her if she was O.K. she said yes and ran back. I could not talk to her.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Then another woman came running out with a teenage girl and a little girl, both of them were crying too and very frightened.  I told this woman that what was happening was traumatizing the children,and that it could possibly scar them,  the screams were still  so loud and scary.  I offered to help her and the 4 children  with EFT,  but she said that she just wanted to take them out of the situation into her car.  The woman went to get the boys and then her little girl just wanted me to hold her, which I did until her mother came back.</strong></p>
<p><strong>At this point the owner of the house, came to talk to me and I explained to her that what was happening to these children was so damaging and not acceptable.  I told her that because of the work that I do, I know how harmful violence and abusive speech is to young children.  It can scar them for life.  When the abuse is repetitive and the home environment  resembles a war zone;  many of these abused children end up suffering serious diseases like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD or CFS/M.E.  anxiety, terrors, panic attacks, depression,  etc.    She agreed and said that she couldn&#8217;t stop it.</strong></p>
<p><strong>I really don&#8217;t know if this situation happens often in their homes,  but my neighbor said that the woman who started it all, was raised by a mother that did the same thing to her,  she was raised among violent fights and screams, the woman is just repeating what she learned from her mother.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Maybe this woman is not aware that she can break the cycle of abuse and that she can raise her children in a very different way.<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>I know for a fact that not all children who were horribly abused by their parents turn out to be bad parents.  Somehow, they consciously decided that they have to be different.  They choose to be loving.   But it is so hard, because the abusive language that they heard when they were children comes running to their mind when they are trying to discipline their own children. It is a battle that they fight against themselves in an effort to be different from the way that they themselves were raised.<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">I just want you to be aware that EFT is very effective in helping you clear the pain of your own childhood, EFT can help you clear the pain of the abusive words you might have heard when you were young. Once you have healed your past, it will be easier for you to create a peaceful and loving home, so instead of functioning from a place of overwhelm and hurt, now  you will be operating from a place of love, calm  and safety.  Do you see the difference?<br />

<li><strong>We are teaching you to take care of your own needs first</strong></li>
</ul>

<li><strong>We are teaching you to take care of your body and treat it with respect</strong></li>

<li><strong>You are the cutest child I have ever seen</strong></li>

<li><strong>You are a high joy vibration</strong></li>
</ul>

<li><strong>You are amazing!</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>I love hugging you</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>I love reading stories to you</strong></li>
</ul>

<li><strong>I love to tuck you in at night</strong></li>

<ul>
<li><strong>You are safe, we will always protect you.</strong></li>

<li><strong>It is O.K. for you to express what you are feeling, what you want, what you don&#8217;t want</strong></li>

building and rescued her five kittens is recuperating with her litter at an<br />
animal clinic.<br />
With her eyes blistered shut, her paws burned and her coat singed, the cat &#8211;<br />
nicknamed Scarlet for her patches of red fur &#8212; darted into the flames and<br />
pulled out her kittens, one by one. Once all the kittens had been rescued,<br />
their mother conducted a head count, touching each kitten with her nose to<br />
make sure they were all there.<br />
Firefighter David Gianelli found the feline family outside the building Friday<br />
and took them to an animal shelter, where the mother and babies are<br />
receiving treatment.<br />

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>A French Proverb says: <span style="color:#333399;"> &#8220;Gratitude is the heart&#8217;s memory&#8221; </span> and we have found that &#8220;gratitude&#8221; is an important part in your healing.  Therefore, we usually suggest to clients to spend a few minutes a day writing a &#8221; Gratitude Journal&#8221; because there is a connection between the heart and positive emotions such as gratitude, love and peace.                                                                                              </strong></p>
<p><strong>Interestingly,  The Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology, reported in their spring 2000 issue that in a study, researches divided volunteers into three groups.  </strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>The first group kept a daily log of 5 complaints</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>The second group wrote down a daily list of 5 things they were better at/did better than their peers</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>The third group kept a daily log of 5 things they were grateful for.</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>After three weeks, those who kept the gratitude journal reported increased energy, less health complaints, and greater feelings of overall well-being as compared to the participants in the other two groups.</strong></p>
<p><strong> Remember also that there is a constant interaction between your mind and body  all day long, so when you focus on joyful thoughts it brings peace to your heart.  This is a lot of fun because  you are sending a positive message to the universe, the universe then responds to you and multiplies your joy, your appreciation, your love!</strong></p>
<p><strong>How do you concentrate on joyful thoughts?</strong></p>

<li><strong>Think about what makes you happy</strong></li>
<li><strong>Your pet</strong></li>
<li><strong>Your favorite music</strong></li>
<li><strong>Your favorite book</strong></li>
<li><strong>Your favorite sport</strong></li>
<li><strong>Your favorite dance</strong></li>
<li><strong>Your favorite flower</strong></li>
<li><strong>The coffee or tea that you drink early in the morning</strong></li>
<li><strong>Going to the gym</strong></li>
<li><strong> Your best friend</strong></li>
<li><strong>Your partner</strong></li>
<li><strong>The special moment that you use to enter into your inner stillness, your deeper essence</strong></li>
</ul>

<h3>What does EFT have to do with Gratitude?</h3>
<p><strong>We use EFT to tune into specific issues while tapping on certain meridian or energy points on the body and it seems that it balances the disturbances of your system.  This focused tapping allows you to anchor these emotions of gratitude and appreciation in your heart and body.      We love to tap our Gratitude Phrases on the heart center because it brings us into our heart, but you could simply tap on your favorite energy point, or all over the energy points like a regular round of tapping.</strong></p>
<p><strong>To do your Gratitude Phrases, just describe how you want your body  to feel,  what you want to accomplish in your life, the goals you want to achieve,  you can mention the people or events that mean a lot to you right  now or the wonderful things you already have in your life.                                                                                                                                                                                                              Furthermore, when you  focus on feeling &#8220;Gratitude&#8221; you  infuse your mind and body with joy and happiness.  Your frequencies will raise to higher levels and it will be easier for you to attract what you have been desiring,  more things to be grateful for.</strong></p>
<p><strong>So Let&#8217;s get you started:</strong></p>

<p><strong>Put your hand on the middle of your chest (your heart center) and tap while repeating aloud:</strong></p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Of course you&#8217;ve  heard that  people handle their grief in different ways.  For example it  is normal to grieve the loss of a loved one.  However, any change in life  (positive or negative)   will,  at times, bring  the emotion of grief to your heart.          </strong></p>
<p><strong>Have you noticed yet that some people suffer grief after they have achieved a major goal in life?  What about ending a part of their life and beginning a new one?</strong><strong>  The following are some of the symptoms of grief that a person might experience.</strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">&#8220;The Grieving Process&#8221;</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Denial</strong></li>
<li><strong>Anger</strong></li>
<li><strong>Bargaining</strong></li>
<li><strong>Depression</strong></li>
<li><strong>Acceptance</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Some  people experience initial shock, disbelief, emotional paralysis  or guilt.  Feel free to add your own emotional experience to the list.<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>Some of the stress factors that might contribute to grief and depression  are:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Death of a spouse</strong></li>
<li><strong>Death of an immediate family member</strong></li>
<li><strong>Marriage</strong></li>
<li><strong>Divorce or separation</strong></li>
<li><strong>Divorce or separation of your parents</strong></li>
<li><strong>Moving to a different city</strong></li>
<li><strong>A new family member</strong></li>
<li><strong>A child who leaves the nest</strong></li>
<li><strong>Graduation</strong></li>
<li><strong>Loss of job</strong></li>
<li><strong>New job</strong></li>
<li><strong>Money problems</strong></li>
<li><strong>Buying or selling a house, etc. etc.</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>This is not a complete list, other stress factors might contribute to grief and depression.</strong></p>
<p><strong>While grieving  about our losses and disappointments is a part of  life there are times, when a person can get stuck in emotional overwhelm.  This is the time, when you need to ask for help.  You could  join a support group to share your loss.<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>Here is a fact for you,  EFT is effective to help you acknowledge the pain of what has happened to you and identify the current stress factors in your life. EFT is an amazing tool that you can use to  eliminate the unresolved negative emotions caused by your loss so you can move forward with life.</strong></p>
<p><strong>We are including a tapping script and video to help you deal with grief&#8230;<br />
</strong></p>
<h5>Note:  These videos and tapping scripts are generic in nature and not reflective of an actual EFT session with us.  Our sessions are specifically designed for YOU, Your Own history,  Your special Needs, Circumstances and Specific Events in Your Life.  We help you neutralize the destructive emotions of anger, grief, self-doubt, fear, nervousness, lack of confidence, emotional pain or any other negative emotion, trauma  or memory that robs you of  your joy.  Then you are imprinted with positive beliefs and emotions for permanent change and well-being.  If you agree to follow this EFT Round,  you are agreeing to take full responsibility for your own well-being.  Further, these EFT phrases might trigger your own memories and emotions, write them down and then do EFT focusing on them, until you do not feel an emotional intensity.  You  deserve peace, so keep tapping.</h5>

<p><span style="color:#333399;"><strong>Tap 7 to 10 times on your  karate chop point  (side of hand) or on your favorite point and say:</strong></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#333399;">I have the intention to release the sadness and grief from my heart.</span><br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>When you think about  your loss,   what emotion do you feel?  Where do you feel that emotion in your body?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Rate the intensity of your emotion on a scale of 0-10 (SUDS  Rating-Subjective Units of Distress)</strong></p>
<p><strong>10 meaning – your highest intensity (I feel terrible)</strong></p>
<p><strong>0 meaning  – no intensity at all  (I feel happy)    *  Remember to drink water before and during tapping</strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>While rubbing the sore spot on your chest or tapping the karate chop point of either hand (7-10 times) Repeat the following EFT Phrases aloud:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>EFT SET UP PHRASES</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Even though there is no way out for me,  I feel completely lost, I don&#8217;t know where to turn to.  I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself</strong></p>
<p><strong>Even though I have lost so much and my mind feels numb, I cannot have a clear thought.  I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself anyway</strong></p>

<p><strong>Even though this  pain in my heart is so deep and there is no way that I can feel better.  I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself anyway</strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong><strong>Now tap on the following energy points while repeating your negative reminder phrases:  If possible tap on both sides of the face and body. (Use 3 or 4 fingers of one hand to tap on the energy points)</strong></strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Crown of head:  I feel this tremendous pain in my heart</strong></p>
<p><strong>Beginning of eyebrow:  I have lost so much</strong></p>
<p><strong>Side of eye:  I feel NUMB</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under eye:  My mind is paralyzed</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under nose:  I cannot have a clear thought</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under mouth:  I don&#8217;t feel like doing anything</strong></p>
<p><strong>Collarbone:  I cannot keep going on like this</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under arm:  This pain is so deep  and it is overwhelming me</strong></p>
<p><strong>Crown of head:  I cannot keep going on like this<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>Beginning of eyebrow:   I cry and cry all day long</strong></p>
<p><strong>Side of eye:  I don&#8217;t even want to get up from bed</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under eye:  I don&#8217;t want to get out of this house</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under nose:  I don&#8217;t want to talk to anybody</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under mouth:  This pain in my heart is overwhelming me!</strong></p>
<p><strong>Collarbone:  This pain in my heart is overwhelming me!</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under arm:  I have lost so much!</strong></p>
<p><strong>Crown of head:  I feel numb,  I don&#8217;t think that I can get out of this one</strong></p>

<p><strong>Crown of head:  What if I could relax just a little bit?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Beginning of eyebrow:  What if I am able to engage in new activities?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Side of eye:  Maybe I can talk to somebody</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under eye:  There is  somebody else that also understands  my pain           </strong></p>
<p><strong>Under nose:  Maybe I can talk to a friend,  I can tell him what I am going through</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under mouth:  I know that it is going to take some time for me to feel better</strong></p>
<p><strong>Collarbone:  But maybe I can let go of some of this pain</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under arm:  What if I can begin to feel more energetic?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Crown of head:  What if I can start doing something  new?  I am open to the possibility that I can let go of some of this pain</strong></p>
<p><strong>Beginning of eyebrow:  What if I could let go of some of this numbness that I feel every single day?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Side of eye:  I am open to becoming free</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under eye:  I deserve to begin having some joy in my heart</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under nose:  I deserve to wake up in the morning  being energetic</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under mouth:  I have all the memories left</strong></p>
<p><strong>Collarbone:  I can think of all the good times we spent together</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under arm:  I can talk to others about the wonderful moments that we spent together</strong></p>
<p><strong>Crown of head:  I am open to talking to other people more</strong></p>

<p><strong>I have been contemplating for some time,  writing an EFT article on procrastination, but I simply didn&#8217;t get around to do it.  </strong></p>
<p><strong>Then, when I finally decided to focus my attention, I sat here looking at the empty page for a long time&#8230;</strong></p>
<p><strong>Has this ever happened to you?  Have you had an important project and you didn&#8217;t do it until the last minute?  Is it hard for you to get things done?  For example, you might have the desire to change something in your life, but somehow you don&#8217;t take decisive action.  Do you know what is stopping you?</strong></p>
<p><strong>One dictionary defines  a &#8216;PROCRASTINATOR&#8221;   as someone who delays action or postpones work out of laziness or habitual carelessness.</strong></p>
<p><strong>You probably agree that these  are strong words, &#8220;laziness or habitual carelessness/&#8221;   But&#8230;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Are laziness and lack or attention really the reason why you procrastinate?</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>Are there other fundamental reasons behind procrastination?</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>Do you think that procrastination may be  caused by childhood experiences?</strong></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><strong>Are you delaying or postponing your healing, your success and feeling good about yourself based on those childhood experiences?</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What if there was a way to finally transform &#8220;procrastination  into action?&#8221;   How will you change if you finally decided that it is time to heal your life?</strong></p>
<p><strong>We are including a tapping script and video so you can begin to clear this habit of procrastination.<br />

<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>Tap 7 to 10 times on your  karate chop point  (side of hand) or on your favorite point and say:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>I have the intention to clear procrastination out of my life.  I intend to get things done today!</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>When you think about  not being able to accomplish what you desire because you have the habit of postponing it,   what emotion do you feel?  Where do you feel that emotion in your body?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Rate the intensity of your emotion on a scale of 0-10 (SUDS  Rating-Subjective Units of Distress)</strong></p>
<p><strong>10 meaning – your highest intensity (I feel terrible)</strong></p>
<p><strong>0 meaning  – no intensity at all  (I feel happy)    *  Remember to drink water before and during tapping</strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>While rubbing the sore spot on your chest or tapping the karate chop point of either hand (7-10 times) Repeat the following EFT Phrases aloud:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>EFT SET UP PHRASES</strong></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Even though I have this frustrating habit of procrastination,  I deeply and completely love and respect myself</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Even though for one reason or for many reasons,  I just can&#8217;t get things done,  I deeply and completely love and forgive myself for anything that I have done to contribute to my procrastination  problem</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Even though it is the strangest thing,  I say that I want to accomplish my goals, but then I do everything in my power so I don&#8217;t reach my success!  I accept how I feel and how I react</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Even though I don&#8217;t know why, but I just can&#8217;t move forward,  I accept myself and I accept the fact that I am stuck</strong></p>
<p><strong>Even though it is a real problem, that I cannot get things done,  I am open to the possibility that I can change because I do want to finish my projects</strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>   <strong>Now tap on the following energy points while repeating your negative reminder phrases:  If possible tap on both sides of the face and body. (Use 3 or 4 fingers of one hand to tap on the energy points)</strong><br />
</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Crown of head: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I procrastinate in life</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Beginning of eyebrow:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">It is my habit</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Side of eye:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">I don&#8217;t know what is wrong with</span> <span style="color:#0000ff;">me!</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under eye: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I just cannot get things done</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under nose:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">And then everybody is questioning me and giving me a hard time</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Chin:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">Did you do it?</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Collarbone:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">Why didn&#8217;t you do it?</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under arm: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I cannot move forward</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Crown of head: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I am afraid to try something new</span></strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">!</span></p>
<p><strong>Beginning of eyebrow:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">I cannot get things done</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Side of eye: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I am afraid that I am going to fail</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under eye: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I am sure that I will be a failure</span></strong></p>

<p><strong>Crown of head:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">What if could release this procrastination habit?</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Beginning of eyebrow:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">I am allowing myself to change</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Side of eye:<span style="color:#0000ff;"> I would love to see my dreams fulfilled</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under eye:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">I want to be recognized by my merits and my talents</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under nose: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> Maybe, I just wasn&#8217;t getting things done so people will pay attention to me</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Chin:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">The problem is that it was the wrong kind of attention</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Collarbone: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> Sometimes when I do good things, I never get the recognition</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under arm:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">Maybe as a child I learned to delay things so I could get some attention</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Crown of head:<span style="color:#0000ff;">  But I am an adult now, and I am acting in life with the mind of a little kid</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Beginning of eyebrow:<span style="color:#0000ff;">  I have decided today to change this old pattern</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Side of eye: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I choose to be eager to try something new</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under eye:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">I no longer need people&#8217;s approval to live my life</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under nose:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">I am living my life on my own terms.  It is about time</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Chin:  I<span style="color:#0000ff;"> am giving myself permission to reach out for the stars</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Collarbone: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I am not postponing my actions any longer</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under arm:<span style="color:#0000ff;">  I am clearing all the reasons why I procrastinate </span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Crown of head:<span style="color:#0000ff;">  And I am feeling confident about achieving my goals.  It is getting easier to get things done and I feel great!</span></strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>Take a slow healing breath in and out and relax your mind and body!</strong></span></p>

<p><strong>Do you remember what you felt when you  were a little kid?  Hopefully, you have sweet memories of loving parents and grandparents.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Maybe you remember your grandmother teaching you how to bake cookies in the winter months, or how she kept a drawer full with your favorite candies ready for your visits to her house. And wasn&#8217;t it amazing that this was a magic drawer because it never ran empty!</strong></p>
<p><strong>Unfortunately,  some families don&#8217;t have the sweet  grandmother that loves to spend time with her grandchildren.   Their home environment wasn&#8217;t sweet at all.                                                                                                                                                                                                                  One of the most common complaints we hear from clients is an emotion that they have felt all through their lives&#8230;.they feel heart-broken.  They felt that their father or  mother didn&#8217;t love them as young children.  And this lack of parental love has wounded them  deeply.  It is never easy to accept that you have been rejected by your own parents.</strong></p>
<p><strong>I would like to mention that the pattern of being heart-broken and crushed due to childhood emotional trauma  is a big component of CFS/M.E.  Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.</strong><br />
<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>Think about it for a moment, if you suffer CFS/M.E.  (or you know someone who does)  How do you feel with this illness?  Isn&#8217;t it true that you feel completely crushed and devastated by it?  Now keep in mind that  you would have to clear those  specific childhood events that crushed you once upon a time, in order to feel better.<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>The pattern of being heart-broken and crushed is not the only pattern in CFS/M.E.   CFS is a very complex illness and each case is unique.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Sometimes, clients say that they cannot remember traumatic events. We can help you find those events  and at what ages you suffered trauma, what emotions are behind that trauma and we can help you release it completely from your mind,  body  and your energy system so you can finally feel good.<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong> What is important to notice is that some childhood traumas are insidious: they occur to the child every day of their lives.  For example:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>The child is neglected every day (His parents don&#8217;t give him the love , attention,  protection,  food,  and shelter that he needs)</strong>        <strong></strong></li>
<li><strong>Sometimes, he doesn&#8217;t receive basic education or medical care </strong></li>
<li><strong>The parents reject their child</strong></li>
<li><strong>Child gets isolated or ignored</strong></li>
<li><strong>Child gets emotionally and verbally abused (sometimes, even beaten)</strong></li>
<li><strong>Child&#8217;s self-esteems suffers by being continually belittled and berated  (this can be an every day event, and  some children believe this is normal and that everybody lives like that</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>But since being heart-broken is common during childhood or the teenage years, The following EFT exercise will help those who are not sick with </strong> <strong>CFS/M.E. as well.</strong></p>
<p><strong>We are including a tapping script and video so you can begin to clear some of this childhood pain.<br />

<p><strong>Even though I felt rejected by my parents all through  my life, why could they not take care of me?  I could never do anything right in their eyes, I was always screamed at or beaten into submission,  I deeply and profoundly love, accept and respect myself anyway       </strong></p>
<p><strong>Even though I am really tired of trying to gain their approval, <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I have decided today that I do not need their approval to live my own life, and it is never too late to change and be happy!                                                                                                                                                                        </span></strong></p>

<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;"><span style="color:#000000;">Under eye:</span>  They could not take care of me!</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;"><span style="color:#000000;">Under nose:</span>  They screamed at me!</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;"><span style="color:#000000;">Chin</span>:  I was beaten into submission</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;"><span style="color:#000000;">Collarbone:</span>  I could never do anything right!</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;"><span style="color:#000000;">Under arm:</span>  I am adult now, and I am still trying to gain their approval</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;"><span style="color:#000000;">Collarbone:</span>  I recognize that for some reason, they don&#8217;t want to change and they will never acknowledge that they wounded me emotionally and probably physically too!</span></strong></p>

<p><strong>Collarbone:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">Their screaming caused me</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under arm: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I am releasing it from my DNA</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Crown of head:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">I am only human and it is O.K. to make mistakes</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Beginning of eyebrow:  <span style="color:#0000ff;"> From now on,  I choose to feel loved, and  welcomed wherever I go</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Side of eye: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I know that I have always been more than good enough</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under eye: <span style="color:#0000ff;"> I want to love myself</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Under nose:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">And radiate this love to others</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Chin:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">I don&#8217;t need anybody&#8217;s approval to be happy</span></strong></p>

<p><strong>Under arm:  <span style="color:#0000ff;">I am giving myself permission to heal in mind and body and in my heart!</span></strong></p>
