<p><strong>Gary Craig taught us the power of the acceptance phrase in EFT:  &#8220;I deeply and completely love and accept myself&#8221; and as we start our healing journey with EFT, we recognize that some of us have a difficult time saying:  &#8220;I Love Myself&#8221;.  </strong> <strong>This might come from beliefs we learned when we were small children.  Our parents did not know how to express love, or as Gary Craig said once: &#8220;We misunderstood their lack of attention for lack of love&#8221;</strong></p>
<p><strong>We</strong> <strong>ended up believing  that they did not love us, and our perception now is that there is something wrong with us and we are not lovable.  Therefore, how can we love ourselves?</strong></p>
<p><strong>We often recommend some of our clients to do &#8220;Mirror Work&#8221;.  We ask them to do their EFT Rounds in front of the mirror and carefully observe their expressions,  what are their eyes telling them?  At what energy point did they let go a sigh?  What were they saying when they yawned?   And we let them know that these are manifestations of energy moving and clearing blocks in their systems, which allows room for healthier beliefs, physical healing and peace.</strong></p>
<p><strong></strong><strong>For this EFT Round, we are suggesting that you tap in front of the mirror and observe your feelings and your reactions&#8230;     </strong></p>

<p><span style="color:#ff0000;"><strong>I intend to live my life loving myself and radiating love</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#0000ff;"><strong>Rate the emotional intensity of your problem on a scale of 0-10 (SUDS RATING- Subjective Units of Distress)</strong></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">10 meaning &#8211; your highest intensity (I feel terrible)</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">0 meaning- no intensity at all</span><span style="color:#0000ff;"> (I feel happy)</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Drink water, remove cell</strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Remember that these EFT Phrases will trigger your own memories and emotions, write them down and then tap them away until you do not feel an emotional intensity.  You deserve Peace! So keep tapping, keep tapping!</span></strong></p>

<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>As you talk to your friends,  you  realize that a lot of people are going through a lot of difficulties in life</strong>,  <strong>some of them have lost their jobs,  others are very sick or have trouble with their relationships</strong></span>.<strong> <span style="color:#000000;"> What about you?    How are you feeling?  Are you also stuck in the energy of desperation, overwhelm and despair?  Is it possible for you to change and feel better?</span></strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>If you are reading this article,  you are probably already familiar with EFT and are  aware that EFT,  Emotional Freedom Techniques, created by Gary Craig,  is very effective in clearing emotional pain, limiting beliefs, the distress of traumatic events and a lot more issues.</strong></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">We  want to invite you to begin clearing your overwhelm with the following EFT Exercise</span></strong>.  <strong>Try it and let us know how it helped you to feel more peaceful and calm</strong>.</p>
<h2 style="text-align:center;">EFT to Help You Overcome Overwhelm and Despair</h2>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Hi Friends:</strong></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">As many of you know, we moved from Fair Oaks, California to Round Rock, Texas recently.  When we were preparing our move, people always commented: &#8220;I love Texas, everybody is so friendly there&#8221;  &#8220;I wish I was there&#8221;</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">We had  never been in Round Rock before, but it has been so nice to confirm that what people said was true, everybody is so friendly and kind over here and the weather?  A gentleman here said:  the weather is so nice, sometimes, you get to enjoy all four seasons in one day!</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>We are beginning to believe this is true.</strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">For the last few weeks, we have been working with athletes.  These are people who have already transformed their bodies through physical training and sports, they are highly energetic and dynamic, they are disciplined and they only want to get better and better.  They are committed to do whatever is necessary to accomplish their goals. And as a nice bonus:  they do their EFT homework!</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">On the other hand, in the past we have worked with people with chronic illness, childhood trauma and other conditions that limit their enjoyment of life.  My own long experience with Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome showed me that people suffering these kind of conditions, have the habit of taking care of others first, doing everything for everybody and neglecting to be kind to themselves. (in my case, I was not living, I felt that I was dying inside day and night and this lasted for over a decade).   I was merely surviving and struggling. </span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">I love EFT because it has been the only tool that has been effective for me.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Maybe when we were little children, we perceived that we did not matter, we were not good enough and we were not worth our parents, or teachers&#8217; time.  Therefore, we learned to sacrifice ourselves for the benefit of  others.  Does this sound familiar to you?  Do you recognize yourself here?   Do not despair, thanks to Gary Craig, the Creator and Developer of EFT, we now can use EFT to clear our childhood pain and our unhealthy patterns.</span></strong></p>

<p style="text-align:left;"><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Rate the intensity of your specific problem on a scale of 0-10 (SUDS RATING-SUBJECTIVE UNITS OF DISTRESS)</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">10 meaning-your highest intensity (I feel terrible)</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">0 meaning-no intensity at all (I feel happy)  Drink water, remove cellular and metals</span></strong></p>

<p style="text-align:left;"><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Note:  Remember that these EFT Rounds will trigger your own memories and emotions, write them down and then do EFT on them until you do not feel an emotional intensity. You deserve peace! so keep tapping.</span></strong></p>

<p style="text-align:left;"><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Even though I really do not why, but I feel that I am not enough, nobody cares for me. I am not important.  What if the truth is that I really matter just because I was born and I exist?  I want to bring balance and harmony into my life.  Yes, I want to take care of myself because I am deserving of enjoying good health and dynamic energy and when I am healthy and balance, then I can take care of others if that is what I want to do</span></strong></p>

<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Why do we need to maintain an appreciative attitude?</strong></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">Imagine for a moment&#8230;. You know someone  who expressed a loving concern for you in the past</span></strong>, <span style="color:#000000;"><strong>someone who went out of his way to help you.  Imagine now that you are writing a letter</strong></span> <strong><span style="color:#000000;">to</span></strong> <strong><span style="color:#000000;">him telling him  how you feel,  letting him know how grateful you are. </span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">When you finish writing your letter, you will experience an increase of positive emotions and well-being.  Of course, the person who receives your letter will also experience positive feelings.</span></strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>You probably agree that today we are all overwhelmed with difficulties.  We live in a hectic world and we go from one activity to the next, trying to take care of everything, and it is a challenge to feel appreciation.</strong></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">As EFT Coaches, we are so convinced that expressing appreciation is so beneficial for you and we highly recommend it to clients.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#000000;">During our tapping exercises, we include A GRATITUDE PROCESS, suggesting to clients to write a gratitude list for three weeks,  tap their gratitude affirmations on the energy points, and then come back to their notes and notice how much they have changed.  Some people have reported that they feel happier and more forgiving.  It seems that manifesting appreciation for the small and big things in our lives, helps us to feel fully alive and mindfully present in our daily activities.</span></strong></p>

<p><strong>Nola Ochs of Kansas became the oldest graduate from Fort Hays State University three years ago at age 95, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, Ochs, now 98, topped that academic feat Saturday, when she received her master&#8217;s degree in liberal studies from Fort Hays.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Australian schoolgirl sailor Jessica Watson sailed into history Saturday, becoming the youngest person to circumnavigate the globe solo, non-stop and without help.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Watson, 16, crossed the finish  line at the entrance to Sydney Harbor shortly before 2 p.m. in her bright pink yacht after 210 days at sea, one month ahead of schedule and 3 days before her 17th birthday.</strong></p>
<p><strong>We love to hear these stories because they remind us of our human potential, but sometimes, due to experiences in our past, and a traumatic childhood, we forget who we were supposed to be, and begin to ROLE PLAY, to get the  approval of others, our parents, coaches, teachers.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Sadly, we have seen these patterns in several of our clients.  They were raised by very controlling parents, suffered severe abuse at the hands of relatives, and now in their 60s, they feel their lives are over.  But as we help them release their trauma with EFT, and transform that negative emotional intensity, we create a new space in their mind and body for healing and new possibilities, they clear their fear and begin doing things, they could no do before, they begin to experience joy and peace and a new level of confidence.</strong></p>
<p><strong>EFT does not erase the memory of the event, but the way they perceive it changes: they say:  &#8220;it is true, it happened, but now that I am retelling the story, it seems like I am talking about someone else.&#8221;</strong></p>

<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;"><span style="color:#000000;">Remember Nola (98 years old) and Jessica (16 years old),  they had a dream and they allowed themselves to fulfill it.  Their parents  were probably the best CHEERLEADERS in the world, or they had a mentor who encouraged them every step of the way or like Gary Craig said once, they probably had little or no emotional static.  Gary explained it like this:</span></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">&#8220;The student who is belittled at home and told that s/he is dense and stupid carries emotional static into the classroom.   When s/he doesn&#8217;t know the answer to a question and/or is jeered at by classmates, his/her &#8220;stupidity&#8221; is reinforced.  When the teacher relegates the student to the remedial group, even more reinforcement takes place.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Such a student develops what amounts to &#8220;learning phobias&#8221; that create emotional static whenever they are asked to take a test or do any other form of intellectual performance.  <span style="color:#ff0000;">It is hard to think clearly and fluidly when your psyche is busy with social fears and self-denigrating thoughts.  To get a sense of this, try to take a test while a bee is buzzing up your nose.  I wonder how well you would score&#8221;</span></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;"><span style="color:#000000;">You probably already know that if you suffered this &#8220;emotional static when you were a child&#8221;   You are going to keep experiencing as an adult in all areas of your life.  </span></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;"><span style="color:#000000;">For example: try to do  a job interview with a bee up your nose, how well will you do? </span></span></strong></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Or imagine that there is an amazing opportunity to get promoted at work,  you might even be afraid to ask for it and you will be sorry for the rest of your life.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>If you are suffering a CHRONIC ILLNESS, you not only  have a  bee up your nose,  you feel like all of your mind and body is filled with  dangerous  bees;  how can you even attempt to face you day feeling like that?</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>You don&#8217;t have to keep suffering this &#8220;emotional static&#8221;  or the tremendous effects of a traumatic childhood that steal away your happiness and confidence&#8230;<br />
