” How EFT Can Help You Create Inner Peace in Tragic Times”

 

EFT Mind and Body supporting you during these times of tragedy  and crisis.

How senseless recent events in the United States have been.  And how affected we all are when we hear the news or when we read  or watch it on television.

Even though we have our own individual identity and we are unique in all aspects, we are all connected energetically in consciousness.

Thus, it is easy to understand that we were shocked to see the horrendous crimes in Connecticut, and most recently the explosions that took place in Boston. We were also surprised to see how many people lost their lives and homes in Texas  due to the fertilizer plant explosion.

So in the midst of these tragedies,  at times you might have a mixture of feelings that you can’t understand…

  • Heartbreak
  • Sadness and Sorrow
  • Grief
  • Despair
  • Anger
  • Fear

What else are you feeling in your heart?

So today, we are asking you to do this EFT Exercise with us as a group, because ” Group Intention”  help us to get results.  Later, when  new people come and read this article,  they can also join our energies with the same intention.

Remember also, that when you heal yourself, you are also healing the world around  you.  When you love yourself,  your love affects your community in a positive way.

SETTING THE INTENTION TO HEAL:

Tap 7 to 10 times on your  karate chop point  (side of hand) or on your favorite point and say:

Our Group Intention is to be able to create inner peace in our minds and bodies

When you think about these horrendous crimes and loss of lives,   what emotion do you feel?  Where do you feel that emotion in your body?  You might be affected by events that are happening in your own corner of the world.

EFT TIP:  You could tap for example: Even though I feel fear in my chest, and it is a 9.  I deeply love and accept myself and I open myself to the possibility that I could have peace  (tap on all the energy points, until your emotional intensity decreases)

Rate the intensity of your emotion on a scale of 0-10 (SUDS  Rating-Subjective Units of Distress)

10 meaning – your highest intensity (I feel terrible)

0 meaning  – no intensity at all  (I feel happy)    *  Remember to drink water before and during tapping

While rubbing the sore spot on your chest or tapping the karate chop point of either hand (7-10 times) Repeat the following EFT Phrases aloud:

EFT SET UP PHRASES

Even though I am so afraid and I don’t feel safe where I live, just look at what happened in ( Boston),  I deeply and completely love and accept myself and I am opening myself to being peaceful in my mind and body and in my heart

Even though my heart breaks when I see those victims and their families, I deeply love and accept myself and I accept that I am having these feelings and maybe I can relax just a little bit so I can heal my heart, my mind and my spirit

Even though I have these fears in my body,  and I cannot relax,  how could they do this to all those innocent people?  I deeply and completely love and accept myself and I am allowing myself to be balanced in my heart, my mind and my whole body

Even though I am so confused with all these emotions, I am giving myself permission to feel each one of them,  I accept that I am angry, I accept that I am afraid, I accept that I am devastated, I accept that I am sad and I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself anyway

Now tap on the following energy points while repeating your negative reminder phrases:  If possible tap on both sides of the face and body. (Use 3 or 4 fingers of one hand to tap on the energy points)

Crown of head:  I am so afraid

Beginning of eyebrow:  I don’t feel safe anywhere

Side of eye:  My heart breaks every time I think about the victims and their families

Under eye:  Why are people so violent and loveless?

Under nose:  How could they hurt innocent people?

Under mouth:  I have all these fears in my body

Collarbone:  and I cannot relax

Under arm:  I am so confused with all my emotions

Crown of head: I am angry

Beginning of eyebrow:   and I have the right to be angry

Side of eye:  I accept that I am angry

Under eye: I am so afraid

Under nose:  I have the right to be  afraid

Under mouth:  I accept that I am afraid

Collarbone:  I am devastated

Under arm:  I have the right to feel devastated

Crown of head:  I accept that I am devastated

Beginning of eyebrow:  I am so sad

Side of eye:  I have the right to be sad

Under eye: I accept that I am sad

Under nose: I don’t feel safe

Under mouth:  I don’t feel safe anywhere

Collarbone: I am so afraid

Under arm: I really don’t feel safe

Crown of head: I don’t feel safe

Take a deep breath and release your fears that you are not safe.  Release them from your mind and body!                                                                                           

How do you feel?

Rate your emotional intensity level on a scale of 0-10, do several rounds until your intensity is down to ZERO.

Now tap  REFRAMING AND POSITIVE CHOICES on each of the following energy points:

Crown of head:  What if I can release my fears?

Beginning of eyebrow:  I could allow myself to clear my fears

Side of eye:  I prefer peace instead

Under eye:   I am giving my heart permission to be filled with love

Under nose:  I am love and I radiate love

Under mouth:  I am peace and I radiate peace

Collarbone: Why is it getting easier and easier for me to be balanced?

Under arm:  I am peaceful in my mind

Crown of head:  What if I could release my anger?

Beginning of eyebrow:  I am allowing myself to clear my anger

Side of eye:  I prefer peace instead

Under eye:  What if I could release my fears?

Under nose:  I am allowing myself to clear my fears

Under mouth:  I prefer peace instead

Collarbone:  What if I could clear my feelings of being devastated?

Under arm:  I am allowing myself to clear my feelings of being devastated

Crown of head: I prefer peace instead

Beginning of eyebrow:  What if could clear my sadness?

Side of eye:  I am allowing myself to clear my sadness

Under eye:  I prefer peace instead

Under nose: I know that I am safe

Under mouth:  I am safe wherever I am

Collarbone: My mind and body are peaceful

Under arm:  I am peaceful in my mind, body and spirit

Crown of head:  My heart is peaceful, and I am peaceful

Take a deep breath and relax your mind and body. 

Gratitude Process

Put your hand on the middle of your chest (your heart center) and tap while repeating aloud:

I am grateful because I am safe

I am grateful because I am safe wherever I go

I am grateful because I can clear my negative emotions

I am grateful because I am peaceful

I am grateful because I am peaceful

I am grateful because I am peaceful and I radiate peace wherever I go

I am grateful because when I heal myself  I heal the world

I am grateful because when I love myself,  I can send love to the world
