“How You can Release the Energy of Desperation When You Are Sick”

What do you have in common with everyone else?

We are all human and at one point or another in our lives, we have all suffered desperation.  Some of the reasons you could have suffered desperation might be:

  • Being diagnosed with an incurable or chronic disease
  • Losing your job and not being able to find a new one
  • Having your house going into foreclosure and losing your home, which has been common in The United States during recent years
  • Being a single parent and raising your children alone
  • Having broken relationships with your parents or family members
  • Seeing your loved ones suffer painful illnesses
  • Seeing your loved ones losing their battle with fatal diseases
  • In some countries, people live in the middle of wars and famine
  • Of course, there are many more reasons why people in general suffer desperation.

When you look at your own life, is there an area where you feel desperate? Perhaps, you have been ill or in pain for many years and you have not found relief.  Perhaps, you are  living every day feeling worthless and you quietly feel desperate inside.

Interestingly, just like chronic illness can  stay with you forever, if you don’t find the right way to balance and bring peace to your body, the energy of desperation that accompanies this type of condition can also affect you for years.  And to make matters worse, when you are desperate, and you are living your life from a place of desperation, you cannot make wise decisions and  you won’t get good results.

Just imagine that you are swimming against a strong tide in the ocean,  how does that feel?

Now you can picture the overwhelming feeling of desperation in the mind and body as you continue fighting your condition.  How does that feel?

Do you ever wonder how it would be like to be able to live without that energy of desperation?

Do you ever wonder about the things you would be able to do once you are free from the damaging energy of desperation?

We are enclosing an EFT exercise that you can use to begin “Releasing the Energy of Desperation” which will allow you to begin living your life from a place of serenity and balance.
I want to let you know that chronic illness is a serious problem and that it has many many contributors to it.  In this short video, I can only talk about a small part of the problem, so if you agree to tap with this video you are agreeing to take full responsiblity for your emotional well-being.


Tap 7 to 10 times on your  karate chop point  (side of hand) or on your favorite point and say:

My intention is to release the energy of desperation from my mind and body!

Think about a specific event or issue that is causing you to feel desperate.  Do you feel the negative emotion in your body? Where in your body do you feel it? Remember that your body is constantly sending you messages, hoping that you will listen and do what is possible to bring your body to a state of balance  and peace.

Do you suffer a chronic illness or chronic pain?  Have you been sick for a long time?

Rate the intensity of your emotion on a scale of 0-10 (SUDS  Rating-Subjective Units of Distress)

10 meaning – your highest intensity (I feel terrible)

0 meaning  – no intensity at all  (I feel happy)    *  Remember to drink water before and during tapping

While rubbing the sore spot on your chest or tapping the karate chop point of either hand (7-10 times) Repeat the following EFT Phrases aloud:


Even though I have suffered this chronic illness for so long and I feel desperate, I deeply and completely love and accept myself

Even though I am so desperate because of my problems with___________________, I deeply and completely love and accept myself

Even though I am really stuck in the energy of desperation and I cannot think clearly, how can I decide what to do when I am feeling so desperate, I deeply and completely love and respect myself anyway and what if I could clear this desperation from my mind and body right now?

Even though I am sure that I will never be able to clear this desperation from my system, after all, I have been sick and desperate for so long,  I deeply and profoundly love and forgive myself for believing that I have to keep living in desperation!

Now tap on the following energy points while repeating your negative reminder phrases:  If possible tap on both sides of the face and body. (Use 3 or 4 fingers of one hand to tap on the energy points)

Crown of head:  I have suffered this chronic illness for so long!

Beginning of eyebrow:  I am so desperate because of my problems with_______________________

Side of eye:  I am so desperate

Under eye:  and I cannot think clearly

Under nose:  I feel so desperate with this condition

Under mouth: I am so desperate

Collarbone:  I will never be able to release this desperation from my life

Under arm:  It really is not safe for me to live without being desperate

Crown of head: Being desperate is “normal” for me

Beginning of eyebrow:   I have been desperate for so long

Side of eye:  I just don’t know how to live my life from a place of balance and peace

Under eye: I will never be able to clear this desperation from my system

Under nose: I am so used to living in a permanent state of desperation!

Under mouth: It feels like I am swimming against the tide!

Collarbone: It really is not safe to feel peaceful in my mind and body!

Under arm: I am so desperate!

Crown of head: I am so overwhelmed with desperation!

Take a deep breath and release the energy of desperation.  Release them from your mind and body!                                                                                                                                               

How do you feel?

Rate your emotional intensity level on a scale of 0-10, do several rounds until your intensity is down to ZERO.

Now tap  REFRAMING AND POSITIVE CHOICES on each of the following energy points:

Crown of head: What if it is time for me to relax

Beginning of eyebrow: so I can heal myself

Side of eye: What if it is time for me to become centered

Under eye: so I can heal my mind and body

Under nose: What if I can be more peaceful

Under mouth:  so I can think clearly

Collarbone: What if I can be calm and relaxed

Under arm:  so I can get better

Crown of head:  Nothing good comes from being desperate

Beginning of eyebrow:  and I am ready to try a new way of being

Side of eye: I am giving myself permission to be safe as I learn to be peaceful

Under eye:  What if it is really safe for me to be calm and relaxed?

Under nose:  I am ready to live in a permanent state of joy and peace!

Under mouth: Why is it getting easier and easier to be peaceful in my mind and body?

Collarbone:  I am giving my mind and body permission to be serene

Under arm:  I am allowing my mind and body to relax

Crown of head:  I deserve to be completely balanced and peaceful  in my mind and body!

Take a deep breath and relax your mind and body.  

Gratitude Process

Put your hand on the middle of your chest (your heart center) and tap while repeating aloud:

Remember that we want to establish a connection between our  mind and our heart because we want to live a heart centered life!

I am grateful because I approve of myself

I am grateful because I love and accept myself just the way I am

I am grateful because I am the one who is willing to change and be completely balanced and peaceful

I am grateful because I know that I am magnificent!

I am grateful because I am allowing myself to live my life from a place of peace and harmony!

I am grateful because I am giving myself permission to be relaxed and calm!

I am grateful because I am willing to forgive myself for living in constant desperation!

I am grateful because I finally recognized that I am safe being peaceful and centered!
