“Are You Suicidal or Afraid of Being Beaten Up?”
Hi EFT MindandBody Community:
“Are You Suicidal or Afraid of Being Beaten Up?”
What a question! Are you living in the middle of violence? Sometimes when you live in a violent environment – whether as a young kid, a teenager or an abused wife or husband- you are constantly surrounded by physical, sexual, verbal or emotional abuse. (sometimes, victims experience all of these facets of abuse) You just don’t even suspect that things could be different and get better for you.
When you are young child, and all you have experienced in your life is lack of respect, neglect, and beatings there is a great chance that you can’t even imagine how your life could be different. You don’t even question your situation. Violence and abuse can steal from you even your right to dream and hope for better things. And sometimes, the young child or teenager actually believes that what they are experiencing is “normal.” They might even believe that their little friends live in similar circumstances. What we really want you to know is that YOU, YES YOU, ARE WORTHY OF BEING TREATED WITH RESPECT. you deserve to be loved and protected.
We all came from a Source who is Pure Love, therefore, You Are Pure Love. Even though at times you don’t believe it. And your family situation constantly tells you the opposite. You are Pure Love. Please remember, that You are worthy just because you exist, you are alive, you are breathing. If you are a young person, know that you have amazing gifts you need to develop and that the world is waiting for you to express yourself in your own unique way. Every single person, young or old, have magnificent qualities, and all of you have the potential to contribute your gifts to your community.
But now I want you to get in touch with your breath, become aware of the abundance of oxygen that is available for you right now…
Allow yourself to feel the freedom of your breath: Place your hand on your heart center (the middle of your chest) And get in touch with the magic of your breath, breathe in, breathe out, feel your breath. Your breath tells you all the time that you are alive, that you deserve to be on this earth, feel your breath, feel gratitude because you are alive and you are breathing. Again, breathe in, breathe out, feel your breath and feel gratitude because you are here and you are pure love.
From now on, learn to be aware of your breath, consciously and slowly breathe in and breathe out and let your mindandbody relax. And every time, you do this breathing exercise recognize how wonderful you are.
And as you are feeling the expansiveness of your breath in and out, remember that your being here has a Divine Purpose.
- It is true that you might be living under terrible conditions, and that sometimes you feel like you don’t have a way out, that the way you are being treated makes you feel worthless and at times you might think about suicide. Have you ever considered that this situation is here so you can transcend it?
- What if you are here because you are courageous enough to heal yourself, and heal your story so you can experience the total freedom of joy and inner peace, respect and love for yourself?
- And while you heal your life, you empower yourself and your experience gives you the wisdom, the compassion and the knowledge to help and empower others who are struggling with problems similar to yours?
